Monthly Report - FEBRUARY 2025

February 2025 marks three years since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine began. At Children New Generation, we have witnessed the worst of war—cities burning, parents carrying their children through bombed streets, elderly people leaving behind everything they built over a lifetime. But we have also seen the best of humanity—volunteers risking their lives to rescue people, strangers opening their homes to those in need, and children who, despite everything, still dream of a better future.
In February 2025, we continued our mission, ensuring safety, shelter, and humanitarian support for displaced individuals. This month, we focused on evacuations, food distribution, heating assistance, and ongoing fundraising efforts to sustain our programs.

Key Figures:

Evacuations: 102 people, including 12 minors and 12 individuals with disabilities.
Shelters: Provided refuge for 142 people, including 40 in the shelter for mothers and children.
Food Assistance: Supported 60 beneficiaries in Dnipro through a new food distribution initiative.
Heating Assistance (Project Warmth): 232 beneficiaries.

Food Assistance for IDPs in Dnipro

Last December CNG launched a new food distribution program to support displaced individuals in Dnipro. In February, the initiative provided food assistance to 60 beneficiaries, with a focus on families, elderly individuals, and people with disabilities.

As humanitarian needs remain critical, we aim to expand this project to reach more people in the coming months.

Project Warmth: Helping Families on the Frontline

In February, thank to the grant from Let's Help!, Project Warmth was successfully completed, bringing essential heating support to frontline communities.

23 generators were distributed, including 3 for Unbreakable Points and 20 for families and local water supply stations.
210 households received heating assistance.
2,100 bags of coal (94,500 tons) were delivered to vulnerable families.

With winter still bringing extreme challenges, these efforts have helped hundreds of people survive in war-affected areas.

Devastation in Pokrovsk as Evacuations Continue

Pokrovsk, Donetsk Region, remains under relentless attacks. As shelling intensifies, entire neighborhoods have been destroyed, forcing more families to flee.

Despite the risks, CNG continues its evacuation efforts, helping 102 people this month, including the elderly, children, and individuals with disabilities.

Every rescue mission is a race against time. We will not stop until every person who wants to leave is safely evacuated.

Looking Ahead

Expanding food assistance in Dnipro to support more displaced families.
Continuing evacuations from high-risk areas.
Sustaining Dreamcenter’s operations through ongoing fundraising.
Providing long-term heating solutions to frontline families.

We are deeply grateful to all donors, partners, and volunteers who make this work possible. Together, we provide safety, warmth, and hope.
