Milestones & Updates

Two Months of Support: Shelter for Mothers and Children

Since opening two months ago, our shelter for mothers and children has provided temporary refuge for 189 transit residents and supported around 60 families. This space has become a place of comfort, stability, and safety for those forced to leave their homes.

This month, we were honored to welcome PROLISKA Humanitarian Organization and Hansen Ukrainian Mission, who visited the shelter and provided invaluable support. Their commitment to helping displaced families highlights the power of collaboration in humanitarian work.

Dreamcenter: A Space for Growth & Inclusion

The Dreamcenter was founded on the belief that every child, especially those with special needs, deserves a place to learn, grow, and thrive. Today, it serves around 80 children every month, but to sustain its activities, we need your help.

We are fundraising 500,000 hryvnias to cover:

Rent & utilities

Educational programs

Hot meals for children

Your support can help keep this vital space open and accessible to those who need it most. Please, donate to ensure the future of Dreamcenter.

A Story of Strength: Bohdan’s Family Finds Safety

On December 18, Bohdan and his parents, Maria and Artem, were evacuated from Zvirove village near Pokrovsk, where the frontline was just 1.5 km away. Forced to flee for the second time in less than a year, they left behind their home as shelling intensified. The White Angels evacuation team, alongside our volunteers, rescued them just in time.

Bohdan finally had the chance to play outside again at the shelter. The family stayed longer than usual, as Maria was in the final weeks of pregnancy. On January 7, she gave birth to a daughter, Ulyana. After leaving the hospital, they relocated to Kyiv, where they were offered temporary housing for three months. Now, they are focused on finding work and rebuilding their lives.

Their journey is not over, but they are moving toward a safer future.

Looking Ahead

• Continuing evacuations to bring families to safety.

• Expanding Dreamcenter programs to serve more children.

• Strengthening partnerships for sustainable aid and shelter support.

• Providing heating assistance to vulnerable families during the winter months.

We are deeply grateful to all donors, partners, and volunteers who make this work possible. Together, we create safety, hope, and a future for those in need.
