Dream Center Highlights

Thanks to our new grant from World Vision, in July, our Dream Center became a hub of activity and joy, welcoming 53 unique young beneficiaries, 49% of whom with disabilities. Our two daycare groups, designed to cater to both children with autism spectrum disorders and neurotypical children, operated at full capacity, serving 40 children daily. The laughter and learning that filled our classrooms are testament to the success of our programs. Parents also benefited, with 15 completing a free 8-day intensive ABA therapy course, and another 15 set to join in August.
Empowering Adolescents

We were thrilled to see 69 adolescents engage in our summer camps. These camps provided a safe and nurturing environment for the teens to explore, learn, and build lasting friendships. The camp program included painting, playing, sports, and other valuable activities. The enthusiasm and energy each participant brought to every activity were truly inspiring and served as a reminder that even in times of war, a child's smile is essential.
Vital Food Distribution

Our ongoing partnership with the World Food Programme continued to bear fruit in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk oblast. Our dedicated team distributed a staggering 79,619 individual monthly food kits, ensuring families had the nourishment they needed. Additionally, we provided free bread to 33,713 people and ready-to-eat rations to 174 individuals. In view of the security situation in the area, we conducted double distributions in 4 hromadas (Mariinska, Ocheretynska, Selydivska, Hrodivska), ensuring 11,016 people in most vulnerable areas receive food aid for the second month in advance. These efforts are crucial in alleviating hunger and providing stability to those affected by conflict and displacement.
Water Provision

Following numerous shellings of the water infrastructure in the Donetsk region, residents of cities like Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad have lost access to drinking water. Thanks to donations, we were able to deliver free drinking water to 200+ residents of these cities, 12 litres per person.
Shelter Support

Our Dnipro shelter served as a sanctuary for 97 children, adults, and elderly individuals, providing safety, support, and a sense of community. Among them, 79 are permanent residents, for whom our shelter has become a long-term home, while 18 stayed for a shorter period to rest and recover before moving forward. In July, we are also grateful to our partners at the International Rescue Committee for providing personal hygiene kits, containing shampoos, soap, towels, and much more, to the residents of the shelter. Additionally, thanks to our partners at Angels of Salvation, we hosted two masterclass sessions for the shelter residents: an art therapy class for beneficiaries of all ages and a developmental economics game for adults. This reflects our well-rounded approach to recovery that starts with a bed to sleep on and culminates in opportunities for growth and development.
Looking Forward

As we reflect on the achievements of July, we are filled with hope and determination to continue our mission. Our fruitful cooperation with World Vision has brought about incredible results, and we look forward to hosting the second group participating in our shared ABA-therapy course for parents of children with developmental differences.

However, the current developments on the frontline prompt immediate action. The territories of Donetsk oblast, where we distribute food packages from the World Food Programme, are experiencing heavy shelling and are slowly being occupied. In the coming months, we plan to upscale our humanitarian efforts in the area, doing our best to support those most in need.
